Yes, but only when calculated properly to match all your furry friend’s needs. Most people are not able to do a balanced diet on their own, PetDietPlans is able to calculate everything by the milligram, based on knowledge and science.

Depends on who you ask. We can make your pet a raw diet or a cooked diet. Neither is the best in general, everything depends on the family’s and pet’s needs. And needs to be tailored, if it’s not a perfectly balanced complete feed.

Sure, if it’s in the pet’s best interest and the family’s wish. Dog or cat food does not have to be grain free. It’s a marketing trick, food companies try to create an impression of superiority with words such as grain free or gluten free. The most common food allergens in dogs are beef, chicken, dairy, eggs and lately also lamb. The same animal proteins apply to cats too, with addition of fish, such as salmon. Grains, especially wheat (gluten), can be allergens, but this is very rare, and rice, barley, oats are very unlikely to cause real allergy.

If wished so, and possible considering the pets situation and needs, we can formulate grain free diet recipes containing only animal proteins and for an example potato, sweet potato and vegetables. Please bare in mind, we always act in the best interest of the pet. Sometimes we want to avoid potatoes due to chronic kidney disease and the high potassium, as well as high amounts of meat due to the phosphorus, so we’ll want to use for an example rice, that has not been shown to cause significant problems in dog or cat nutrition.
