PetDietPlans bring elite veterinary-level insight and precision-backed science to your pet’s bowl
Veterinary education is a six-year university degree that covers a wide range of subjects. Unfortunately, nutrition plays only a minor role — in many countries, it amounts to just around ten hours of very general content. In Finland, for example, only a few veterinarians possess in-depth knowledge of pet nutrition.
Our Nutrition Plans Are Built on Veterinary Science – Not Guesswork
In addition to our superior expertise, our service is accessible to everyone and enables fully digital care – safely and effortlessly.
Our software is built on robust and well-established knowledge in veterinary nutrition, and incorporates the latest research, science, and product data. A team of Finnish veterinarians and IT professionals has contributed to the development of this service.
We use a proprietary software system I began developing in 2021, powered by guidelines from NRC, FEDIAF, and AAFCO, and enriched by insights from nutrition literature, textbooks, and research publications. Our software contains over 6,000 different products, based on which we can tailor a perfect diet for your pet, ensuring their well-being.
I’m Eva, veterinarian and owner and founder of PetDietPlans.
Since 2008, I’ve worked in small animal clinics, emergency services, university hospitals, and telemedicine. I have founded two companies, one providing veterinary telemedicine software and service delivered by over 20 vets, and Vetsy, a 420 m2 physical vet clinic in Helsinki, Finland. My further education in healthcare informatics (Finnish Veterinary Association) and my passion for pet nutrition made me found PetDietPlans, a globally unique software and service.
I’ve completed a two-year, vet-only diploma in dog and cat nutrition through the Austrian Veterinary Association (Diplom in Ernährungsberatung). I have been trained under Diplomates of the European College of Veterinary and Comparative Nutrition (ECVCN). There are no higher-ranking experts in this field! I’ve completed over 200 hours of structured and independent study in clinical pet nutrition — and counting
